At last! I've found you!

I've been looking for one of these for a while now. When I stroll around shops I usually don't come across 3 compartment holders in the colors I like, or it's far to scratched up for my liking. It's Blue and it has minimal dings(one ding under the paper towel imprint)It must have been hung up near the stove in the previous owners home cause it has a bit of grease on it, nothing I can't clean up. I love it and can't wait to hang it up.

Vintage Hamper

I've had my eye on this for a while at least a year now. I'm not sure why no one has picked it up. It's near perfect! A little scuffs on the feet. but that's a given. and some dirt from i think fingers under the lid. It was under $10 and I've been needing a new hamper. YAY! I bought this mostly for the hubby and his spoiled clothes. He likes it, so that's a plus.

I miss california. . .

I was born and raised in Southern California. I miss it daily.
Especially when it rains like it has been as of late, in Denver.

A Gift, from the In-Laws. . .

I'm Very fortunate. . .
-My In-Laws are loving, kind and a lot of fun.

1.) They have a love of Vintage STUFF. (when I say stuff.. I Mean Stuff... In Every aspect they collect it.)

2.) Since their son has no major interest in collecting, And their Daughter-In-Law (that's me) does. They leave me sweet gifts they find on their many outings.

3.) Dad-in-law collects (amongst other things) vintage Radios and vintage cameras. I'm a photographer so that means any little brownie he comes along, he scoops it up in hopes I'd like it. And of COURSE I do!

4.) Mom-in-Law Collects the Vintage girly stuff. As well as knowing everything there is to know about every vintage designer every era every everything! It's awesome!

It's like they're passing on all they know to the daughter they never had but has married into. and keeping notes, absorbing all I can, when I can ALL THE TIME!

Some Items We Collect:
dresses, aprons, cameras, lady heads, hats, purses, shoes, photographs, furniture, textiles, dress patterns, dishes, kitchen accessories, and sooooo much more. And here I will post... oh yes... I WILL POST!

Lucite Cake Platter

My new cake plate and cover... I love the starbursts.. LOVE ... love love. I found some coasters That match this pattern. :) It's cute. I know it's from the 50's. It's made out of Acrylic (Lucite is what the woman at the counter said).

Okay, so. I've recently gone on an "overload" of antique mall shopping. So I figured now is a better time than ever to start posting my finds. I'm not really to sure if these are vintage or not. I haven't done any research on these, but they were a great price for the 4 and I couldn't resist. When I do some research I will post my findings if i find anything interesting. Aren't they cute?!
